MacKinnon a rajouté un point dans la victoire et le voilà rendu à 1001 points.

Tard en soirée, les Leafs en étaient à une première visite en Utah.
Toronto menait 3-0 et semblait se diriger vers une victoire facile, mais le club d’Utah n’a pas abandonné. Il est revenu de l’arrière et a créé l’égalité 3-3.

À Ottawa, le seul dénouement qu’on ne voulait pas voir, c’était un match qui allait en prolongation.
Les Sens l’ont finalement emporté 2-1 en temps réglementaire. Mais c’est passé proche que ce match aille en prolongation…
